Who would raise my granddaughter?

My son a single father has full custody of his 4yr.old daughter, they both live with us (parents) We are helping him raise and guide her in life.Mother of child has supervised visitation only. Both sets of grandparents are a big part of her life. My question is who would continue to raise my granddaughter if (God forbid) my son ped away.
