Do you think the liberal left did a disservice by forcing the Bible out of schools?

The bible or any religious books do not belong in public schools; however, this does not mean that God should be kept out of the pledge of allegiance. If a person does not wish to say the name God than let him/her just keep quiet and let the others receipt the pledge as it was written. I would like to see someone keep me from saying "God" during the recitation of the pledge.
