Do you think treating my dog like a baby is a good thing?

i have a little lap dog, a bichon frise, named angel. cutest doggy ever. anyways i treat her like a human, she has her own chair at the table, she goes everywhere with us, she had pj's and clothes, but i love her so much. so what im asking is do you think treating my baby(dog) like this is a good idea?
