Will eating a lot and taking supplements help me bulk up in musclem during the football season?

if i eat a lot in general minus the junk(chips,cookies etc.),take the right supplemental bars/shakes,drink lots of milk and oj(no soda) during the football games or practices/workouts, daily during the season.will it help me get stronger and bulk up in musclem?
