Is really about power?

If was only about and not about power, humiliation, or dominance, then why wouldn't the attacker just hire a prostitute. As illegal actions go, buying a prostitute is less punished and far less jail time. If you wanted , why when you can buy it? The "its only about " argument holds no weight whatsoever.
