If you know Zombie/SciFi movies, help?

i saw this movie during a scifi zombie marathon a while back but i cant remember the name of it. all i can remember is a barrel with some sort of monster in it and these kids open it up. and this girl gets infected and has to cause herself pain to keep herself from killing others, its kind of gory and violent. if u know the title i would appreciate it. thanks
