Financing a car for college with no credit and no co-signer?

You're 18 years old. It doesn't matter how positive you are that you can afford the loan. You have no credit history whatsoever, and that alone will make banks very nervous about loaning you $10,000. You're gonna need a co-signer regardless and the interest rate will probably depend on the co-signer. The only thing that really plays in your favor is you're trying to buy a 2004 Lexus, which will probably have some value.
