Does the American public possess the same sentiments as President Obama...?

regarding his personal as well as presidential beliefs and attributes which he expressed during his recent speech in Cairo University? After having thousands of our servicemen killed in Europe and Asia and the Middle East liberating oppressed countries from tyranny, is that something we have to apologize for?
