Can pet hamsters communicate with you about your girlfriend?

I'm expecting my girlfriend to show up in about 20 minutes. Just now, while I was feeding my pet hamster, Pebbles got off his spinning wheel toy and seemed to walk right in front of me and look me in the eye. He started making little cute hamster noises, but when I listened more carefully it almost seemed like he was saying "You know what to do..." What did Pebbles mean by that?
